Hi, my name is Gary Bruce. By day, I am a self employed odd-job man, but at the end of the day I perform children’s shows in my spare time!

I have been a member of the Essex Police Musical Society, based at Essex Police Headquarters for the past twenty years.

I am the stage manager there but have been known to perform the odd comedy number every once in a while. I am also the stage manager at Witham Operatic Society and help out where I can at other local amateur dramatic societies.

With all my experience, it was a natural step for me to create my own characters and shows to entertain children of all ages. Silly Sammy is my first creation and you can read all about him on his page on this site. I have also spent time assisting Father Christmas in local stores and garden centres.

Shows usually last for forty to fifty minutes and can be tailored to suit the party or event in question.

Usually I cater for three different age ranges, 3 to 5s, 6 to 8s and the 8 to 10s.
Silly Sammy and Father Christmas are available to appear all over Essex and the surrounding area.
